Launched in 2024, Fourthly by Eight Parables, was birthed after nine months at Missional Labs accelerator program.
A fourth space for artists and storytellers experimenting films of nuanced faith in the ever artful way of Jesus: asking parabolic, philosophical, provocative questions for the flourishing life.
As of 2026, we have developed three strategic parabolic pillars — Redemptive AI, Psychology and Theology, and Other Love Stories (read more in About Us).
Fourthly Fund: About Microgrants
We offer microgrants between $250 to $5000 to parabolic film projects and artists. Tier examples of the variety of microgrants we have offered:
$250-$500 | Crowdfunding campaign; film development program travel; independent film distribution via film festivals submissions; tech prep.
$500-$2500 | Short film production sponsorship e.g., micro film shoots or post; independent film distribution via underwriting screening events.
$2500-$5000 | End-to-end short film and unscripted series production; live production; pilot production, etc: Typically crew and travel expenses.
There is no formal application process. We offer support through partnerships and trusted referrals. Per industry finance best practices and stewardship, we require line budgets for production funding and documented event expenses.
